Mansions of the Gilded Age also has a very active group on Facebook and has just reached 10,000 members! For those of you who belong to my Facebook group, thank you for joining and all your contributions. Please continue to share, post, recommend friends or just visit and enjoy. For those who would like to join, click HERE. If you are not familiar with Facebook, you do not have to give out all of your life history, you can set up a basic account and leave most blank and not answer requests for friends. The photo above is the Lyndhurst mansion in Tarrytown, New York and it was the first Gilded Age mansion I visited as a child and will always have a special place on my list of great houses. Make sure if your in the area, not to miss visiting this one of kind house, which has survived and is open to the public. http://lyndhurst.org/
