Here is a photograph of the ballroom at the former Otto H. Kahn Estate, Oheka in the 1980s.
The photo shows the room after being ravaged by vandals and fires while the property was in ruin.Today this room is beautifully restored. Please see other posts on Oheka for more.

 Oheka in ruins. The former Otto H. Kahn mansion at Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, New York. This photo which was taken in the 1980s, shows the house when it was an abandoned ruin. Oheka is one of the few true success stories about the restoration and revival of a great house and returning it to use as a place to hold weddings, events and as a luxurious hotel. During the heyday of the Otto Kahn mansion, Oheka, it has been widely written that Mr. Kahn gave an annual Easter Egg Hunt where each egg was supposedly stuffed with $1000.00 bill.
