Thanks for the information and pictures of this overlooked
mansion.

I noticed it in a copy of Dover's reprint of 1911's "Fifth Avenue from Start to Finish" and was happy to see it given a chapter in "Great Houses of New York".

Are there floorplans of it anywhere?

I have not ever seen any floor plans of the house, but if you examine the pictures you can sort of figure out the ground floor. the main hall was in the center of the house and all the other rooms were arranged around the outside.

I will have to do a sketchy plan one day.
