I did not know about this mansion before. Thank you for your post, I will now try to learn more about it.
Always believed this was one of the most spectacular Victorians ever built. Unfortunately lost along with the Crocker, Huntington, Stanford and original Flood mansions, all located on Nob Hill, after the earthquake and resulting fires.
