Oheka in Ruins, The Otto H. Kahn Estate at Cold Spring Harbor, New York.
Garden facade of Oheka before restoration.
Oheka
in ruins. The former Otto H. Kahn mansion at Cold Spring Harbor, Long
Island, New York. This photo which was taken in the 1980s, shows the
house when it was an abandoned ruin. Oheka is one of the few true
success stories about the restoration and revival of a great house and
returning it to use as a place to hold weddings, events and as a
luxurious hotel. Click HERE to see it today restored!

A success story indeed. The transformation of the mansion and return of the immediate gardens are astounding accomplishments.
