| The Twilight of Splendor |
One of my all-time favorite books about mansions of the gilded age, is a book called "The Twilight of Splendor" by James T. Maher. Printed in 1975, this book covers 5 magnificent mansions including, Whitemarsh Hall, Ca'd'zan, Vizcaya, San Marino, and Shadow Lawn.
