Knollwood, Muttontown, Long Island

The entrance gates to Knollwood, Muttontown, Long Island New York. The mansion is long gone, but the gates have been recently restored and now lead to a nature preserve open to the public. If you have a Facebook account, please also visit and like my PAGE, "Long Island's Gold Coast", where I post many more stories and images of the great estates and mansions, many now gone that once made the north shore of Long Island be called, "The Gold Coast".
